Background
What is the Well-being Network?
A register of people working or living in Flintshire with an interest in health and well being.
Aims of the Well-being Network
- To promote involvement of a wide range of people in the development of work and services to improve health and/or well-being in the county
- To provide opportunities for information sharing, networking and the development of skills
Membership of the Well-being Network
Membership of the Well-being Network is free and open to any individual who has an interest in action to improve health and well-being in Flintshire, and who lives, works or provides not for profit services in the county.
Registering as a member is quick and easy (see 'Join the Well-being Network') , and once an individual is a member of the network, they will benefit from opportunities to
- contribute to actions to improve health and well being
- receive information from the Well-being Network Support Officer about events or work that is taking place or being developed in the County
- share knowledge, skills and ideas with other Network members
What sort of work will the Network be doing?
The main focus for the network is the prevention of ill-health and promotion of good health defined in the Health Improvement and Protection priority of Good Health, Good Care:
