No Smoking Day 2012 - Wednesday 14th March We know that most smokers would really like to stop, but find it hard to. For many the day that their smoke-free life begins never seems to arrive and so we are aiming to encourage smokers to think ahead and with the help of No Smoking Day make that day Wednesday, 14 March 2012. We want YOUR play memories! Flintshire County Council Play Unit is launching a 12 month campaign aimed at raising the profile and understanding of children’s play. The campaign encourages members of the public of all ages across Flintshire to re-live their play experiences and memories from when they were children. The information collected will enable comparisons to be drawn between the games played, level of freedom enjoyed and play experiences. The information will also allow a clear understanding of the changes in play activities and the increasing need for play provision in modern communities. The information gathered will be displayed at the International Play Association Conference 2011, held in Cardiff, as well as at other local and national events. |
