Food Solutions Project
The Food Solutions Project is run by Age Concern North East Wales and is available to anyone aged over 50 and living in Flintshire.
The project can help older people to access food in a number of ways.
The first is the Shop & Drop service. This service provides the opportunity to have food shopping delivered directly to your door. It provides a reliable way to purchase groceries for people who find it difficult to get out to the shops. It can be used as little or as often as required and there is a range of suppliers to choose from.
Information on ready made meal deliveries can also be provided.
The food solutions project also offers support to community groups to set up lunch clubs and can provide older people with information on lunch groups in their area.
